As a certified bilingual mediator, Sara ensures that nothing is lost in translation. Her approach is facilitative and culturally responsive. She understands that cultural values, family ties, and communication styles are essential to reaching a lasting agreement. Trust is the foundation of any mediation. Sara currently serves as the Director of the Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution (LCCR) at LMU Loyola Law School.
In this role, she trains and mentors staff, law students, and community volunteers in the core skills of mediation.
She doesn’t just practice the law; she teaches the evolution of dispute resolution.
By leading the “Nuts and Bolts” mediation training and specialized courses at Loyola, Sara remains at the forefront of modern mediation models.
